Hi, I’m Emily — and I’ve always believed that the most memorable moments happen around a table. Not just because of what’s on the menu, but because of who’s there, how it feels, and the little sparks of connection that happen when we gather.

Matchbook Supper Club was born out of a deep love for hosting — and a longing to bring back the art of intentional entertaining. After several years of running the Rhode Island Cookbook Club (and falling in love with the magic of intimate, themed dinners), I began dreaming of something more immersive… something more alive. A place where women could come together to share meals, learn new skills, and feel creatively inspired.

Matchbook is my love letter to hosting. It’s a celebration of scent and sound, texture and taste. It’s a place for anyone who’s ever lit a candle for a weeknight dinner, color-coded their cocktail napkins, or just wanted to feel more confident inviting people in.

My background is in [brief background: design, hospitality, event planning, education, etc.], and I've always been drawn to creating beauty with meaning — whether that's a perfectly plated dish or a table that tells a story.
