Matchbook Supper Club was born from a desire to make the act of gathering feel meaningful again, full of warmth, surprise, and story.
We wanted a space where women could explore food, learn hosting rituals, and reconnect to the joy of entertaining — not out of pressure, but out of pleasure.
So we created Matchbook.
A name that nods to something nostalgic and charming — something you tuck into your coat pocket after a great meal.

meet the founder
Hi, I’m Emily — and I’ve always believed that the most memorable moments happen around a table. Not just because of what’s on the menu, but because of who’s there, how it feels, and the little sparks of connection that happen when we gather.
Matchbook Supper Club was born out of a deep love for hosting — and a longing to bring back the art of intentional entertaining. After running restaurants for over a decade, I began dreaming of something more immersive… something more intimate. A place where women could come together to share meals, learn new skills, and feel creatively inspired.
Matchbook is my love letter to hosting. It’s a celebration of scent and sound, texture and taste. It’s a place for anyone who’s ever lit a candle for a weeknight dinner, color-coded their cocktail napkins, or just wanted to feel more confident inviting people in.
My background is in [brief background: design, hospitality, event planning, education, etc.], and I've always been drawn to creating beauty with meaning — whether that's a perfectly plated dish or a table that tells a story.
